Any ideas on movies where the audio doesn't sync with the movie. I hear the audio first then the lips move afterward. |

Amazing program! It's all I ever use.
However currently a couple of my movie files convert from avi to mp4 with the audio and video not syncing up. Not sure how to fix that.
Word of advice to Zune users:: Zune says it'll take wmv files but it won't. Pretty much all wmv files will transcode during sync and therefore won't work. It's one picky as hell mp3 player/software so you need it all very specific and generally in mp4 format.

Hello, great product to convet files, i use apollo converter, works great, but t dam slow. This was worth it. I tried to donate,which is the reson for this comment, but it comes back that its unaccepted, or something similar, i took a screen capture if yo wish to see,,please advise. |

Movies with language selections have problems....1st avi file is in english, the rest of the avi files are in spanish or french. WTF? great program if you're multi-lingual otherwise this program is useless. |

I just needed a simple little program to rip the MP3s out of videos downloaded from YouTube. I'm a huge fan of singer Adam Lambert and I'm putting together my own personal live-performance album. Now I don't have to download the videos twice to get both the vid and the MP3.
I actually don't have a Zune, so I don't know anything about how it works for that, but I do know it works really well for my purpose. I love that I can adjust the volume of the MP3, that's a huge plus for this project.
The interface looks a little complex at first glance but don't let that put you off. Actually it's fast, light, and easy to use. I figured out everything I needed to know with a few clicks.

THIS SUCKS!!
The dev won't answer emails and the program won't work. One of two things happen when I run this POS. (I've downloaded the DLL with no change in errors. I've tried version 1.0 and 1.1 with the same problems)
1. As soon as I click on CONVERT it opens my Zune software (God only knows why) and it just sits there and does NOTHING!!! I have to click ABORT then my Zune software throws an error and crashes.
2. I click on CONVERT and the conversion window opens and starts scrolling "[flv @ 00924CF0]Unsupported video codec (7)" until I click ABORT.
I've emailed the dev with these problems with NO response!!
100% USELESS!!!!
I think this guy's had every friend he has rate this POS so it'll look better than it really is.

i have this problem where for many diff types of files it says "could not find file" and thats after i have browsed to the file and selected it and no problem, but then when i click convert it says that. Am i doing somthing wrong or is there an easy fix, help plz???
(120gb zune, trying to knock out some of that with movies, since my whole music collection only took like 3gb lol) |

For all the Zune 80 owners:
Version 1.1 works fine with the Zune 80, provided you save as MP4 (MPEG-4 / AAC) - and not WMV. |

Great program! It's the best free video converter that I've found for my 30 GB Zune. I did find something that worked in version 1.0, but not in version 1.1. Version 1.1 cannot convert videos with 8-bit sound (e.g. PCM), while version 1.0 can. |

This is an awesome program. I've been looking for this for a while. I have a Blackberry Curve and this fits the bill. The only thing it doesn't do is carry over the Tags. Any plans to do that in the future would be a major plus. Otherwise, VERY COOL! |

Unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to convert a series of VOB files (like you would see on a typical DVD) into one .wmv file. So you either end up with a bunch of pieces of a movie in different files or you first have to use another utility to convert the VOB files into something like an .avi FILE that is all combined, and then convert that to .wmv. Then you have to put up with the terrible transcoding burden of the ZUNE software. Isn't there a "one stop shopping" method of taking the various VOB files directly into a format that the ZUNE natively looks for (without the transcoding overhead)? THAT I would gladly pay for. |

Great program. Very useful. Does what it does well. I have a Zune80, and the output format "WMV ver. 1" and "WMV ver. 2" didn't sync for me. I tried using the MP4 output format, and it works great, but I have to rename the file extension to ".m4v" in order for it to automatically sycn well with the Zune80. Overall, great utility, and it's free! |

This is a REALLY Great program.
It's really useful. I've posted it over at zunescene.com and lots of people have used and found it helpful.
the only problem is that the Zune 80 only accepts wmv9 and not wmv 7 or 8.
I have a zune 30 so this program works perfectly for me, but I was just asking on behalf of all the Zune 80 users if you can add wmv9 support to this program. many people would be very greatful if you can add support for this codec.
